No prior knowledge of geometry is required for this lesson.

Activities

1. Activity 1: Analyzing Fortnite Map

   Use the computer or mobile device to access the Fortnite map. Analyze the different locations and their shapes. Identify different geometric shapes such as rectangles, squares, triangles, and circles. Draw a sketch of the Fortnite map and label the geometric shapes you find.

2. Activity 2: Measuring Angles

   Select a location on the Fortnite map and choose two points. Use the ruler and protractor to measure the angle formed by the two points. Record the measurement and classify the angle as acute, obtuse, or right.

3. Activity 3: Building Structures

   Imagine you are constructing a building or fort in Fortnite. Design a blueprint for your structure using geometric shapes. Determine the area and perimeter of your structure. Calculate the angles of any corners or intersections in your blueprint.
