Read a Children's Book
Start the lesson by reading a children's book about gardening to the student. Encourage them to pay attention to the illustrations and listen for new words related to gardening.

Draw and Label a Garden
Ask the student to draw a garden on a piece of paper. Then, have them label different parts of the garden, such as flowers, vegetables, soil, and tools. This activity will help them practice their reading and writing skills.

Explore the Garden (Optional)
If possible, take the student to a garden or allow them to explore a garden at home. Let them observe the various plants and discuss what they see. Encourage them to describe the colors, shapes, and sizes of the plants.
