Materials and Prep
- Access to a computer or device with Roblox installed
- Internet connection

No prior knowledge of Roblox is required, but a basic understanding of reading comprehension and literary analysis will be helpful.
Activities
- Choose a Roblox story: Have the student select a story or game on Roblox that has a narrative or storyline.
- Read and play: Instruct the student to read and play through the chosen Roblox story, paying attention to the characters, plot, and themes.
- Take notes: Encourage the student to take notes while playing, jotting down key events, character traits, and any interesting quotes or dialogue.
- Discussion: Engage in a discussion with the student about the story. Ask open-ended questions about the characters' motivations, the development of the plot, and any underlying themes or messages.
- Analysis: Guide the student in analyzing the story by discussing literary elements such as characterization, conflict, setting, and symbolism. Encourage the student to support their analysis with evidence from the story.
- Reflect and write: Have the student reflect on their experience with the Roblox story and write a short paragraph or essay discussing their thoughts, feelings, and insights gained from the activity.
