Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to read and comprehend a short story related to Roblox.

Materials and Prep

• A computer or tablet with internet access
• A printed copy of the short story (see Activity 2)

Activities

1. Activity 1: Roblox Vocabulary

   Start by discussing Roblox with your child. Ask them about their favorite games, characters, and activities within Roblox. Write down any new vocabulary words that come up during the conversation. Together, look up the meanings of these words and write them down.

2. Activity 2: Reading a Roblox Story

   Print out a short story related to Roblox. Read the story aloud to your child, emphasizing expression and fluency. After reading, ask comprehension questions to check their understanding. Encourage them to ask questions or share their thoughts about the story.

3. Activity 3: Create a Roblox Book

   Have your child create their own Roblox-themed book. Provide them with blank paper or a notebook, and encourage them to write and illustrate a story about Roblox. They can include their favorite characters, games, or adventures. Help them with spelling and offer guidance as needed.
