Activities
- Animal Guessing Game: Show your child a picture of an animal without revealing its name. Describe the animal's features and ask them to guess which animal it is. Encourage them to use their observational skills.
- Animal Drawing: Give your child a blank piece of paper and crayons. Ask them to choose an animal they like and draw it to the best of their ability. Prompt them to include important features of the animal, such as the number of legs or unique markings.
- Animal Sound Match: Play a recording of different animal sounds or imitate the sounds yourself. Ask your child to match each sound with the correct animal. This activity helps them associate sounds with specific animals.
- Animal Facts: Read animal books or magazines together. Discuss interesting facts about different animals, such as their habitats, diet, or special abilities. Encourage your child to ask questions and share their own knowledge.
