Activities

1. Create your own Hogwarts House Points system. Decide on the values for earning and losing points, and then come up with different scenarios where points are awarded or deducted. Use your arithmetic skills to calculate the house points after each scenario.

2. Design a Quidditch match scorecard. Write down the scores for each team after every goal. Practice adding and subtracting the scores to keep track of the total points throughout the match.

3. Imagine you are shopping at Diagon Alley. Choose a few magical items from the Harry Potter universe and assign them prices. Create a shopping list and calculate the total cost of your items using addition. If you have a calculator, you can use it to check your answers.

4. Write a word problem involving Harry Potter characters or situations that requires multiplication or division to solve. Exchange word problems with a classmate and solve each other's problems.
