Objective

Activities

  1. Choose an animal that you find interesting. It can be a domesticated pet, a wild animal, or even a mythical creature.

  2. Research your chosen animal using books or reliable websites. Take notes on its appearance, habitat, behavior, and any other interesting facts.

  3. Write a detailed description of your animal, using your research notes. Include sensory details, such as how it looks, sounds, smells, and feels.

  4. Read your description aloud and revise it if necessary. Make sure your writing flows smoothly and engages the reader.

  5. Create a visual representation of your animal using pictures or figurines, if available. This can help you visualize your animal while writing.

  6. Share your descriptive essay with a family member or friend. Ask for feedback on your writing and make any necessary improvements.
