Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand and apply various arithmetic concepts related to numbers from 1 to 100, including counting, place value, ordering, and identifying numbers that come before and after.

Activities

  1. Explore the "1 to 100 Number Chart" activity in the Maths Online program. Use the interactive chart to identify and count numbers from 1 to 100. Take your time to familiarize yourself with the pattern and sequence of the numbers.
  2. Move on to "Counting to 100 by Tens". Practice counting by tens using the interactive exercises in the program. Pay attention to the pattern and how each number changes as you count by tens.
  3. Proceed to "Numbers to 100". This activity will help you identify and understand the different numbers from 1 to 100. Practice recognizing and saying the numbers out loud as you work through the exercises.
  4. Next, try the "Writing the Numeral" activity. Practice writing the numerals for the numbers you have learned so far. Use the interactive tools in the program to trace and write the numbers correctly.
  5. Continue with "Place Value". Explore the concept of place value by identifying the value of digits in different numbers. Use the interactive tools to drag and drop digits in their correct place value positions.
  6. Move on to "Ordering Numbers". Practice ordering numbers from least to greatest or greatest to least. Use the interactive exercises to rearrange the numbers and check your answers.
  7. Finally, complete the "Before and After" activity. Learn to identify the numbers that come before and after a given number. Use the interactive tools to select the correct numbers in the sequence.
