Objective

Activities

  1. Choose a chemistry-related book or article to read. It can be a non-fiction book about the history of chemistry or a fictional story where chemistry plays a role. Take notes while reading to help you remember important details.

  2. After reading, write a short summary of what you learned from the book or article. Include any interesting facts or concepts that stood out to you.

  3. Create a list of vocabulary words related to chemistry that you encountered while reading. Look up their definitions and write them down. Use these words to create flashcards for studying later.

  4. Design a book cover or poster for the chemistry-related book or article you read. Include important elements or concepts from the story or information you learned.

  5. Write a short paragraph explaining how reading about chemistry helped you understand the subject better. Include specific examples from the book or article to support your explanation.
