Activities

  1. Research and Select Recipes:

    Using the internet or cookbooks, research and select recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for each day of the week. Consider the dietary needs and preferences of your family members.

  2. Create a Menu Plan:

    Using a pen and paper, create a menu plan for the 7 days, specifying the meals for each day and the recipes you will use.

  3. Create a Shopping List:

    Using the menu plan, create a shopping list with all the ingredients needed for the meals. Don't forget to include personal items, pet food, cleaning products, and miscellaneous items.

  4. Virtual Shopping:

    Visit an online grocery store and use their virtual shopping feature to add the items from your shopping list to your cart. Try to stay under budget while ensuring you have all the necessary items.

  5. Review and Reflect:

    Review your menu plan, shopping list, and virtual shopping cart. Reflect on whether you have met the objective of staying under budget while having healthy nutrition meals.
