Activities

  1. Research South East Queensland's climate and soil conditions for growing potatoes.

  2. Prepare the soil by loosening it with a shovel and removing any weeds.

  3. Plant the potato tubers about 4-6 inches deep in the soil, with the eye buds facing up.

  4. Water the planted potatoes regularly, making sure the soil is moist but not waterlogged.

  5. Observe and document the growth of the potato plants over time.

  6. Harvest the potatoes when the plants have died back and the skins are firm.
