Materials and Prep

Activities
- Unicorn Story Time: Read a book about unicorns together. Discuss the characters, settings, and emotions in the story. Encourage the student to ask questions or share their thoughts.
- Dinosaur Art: Ask the student to choose their favorite dinosaur and draw a picture of it using their coloring materials. Encourage them to be creative and add details to their artwork.
- Nature Scavenger Hunt: Take a walk outside and search for items from nature, such as leaves, flowers, or rocks. Discuss the different colors, shapes, and textures found in nature.
- Art and Nature Connection: After the scavenger hunt, ask the student to create a nature-inspired artwork using the materials they collected. They can arrange the items on their paper and glue them down to create a collage.
- Reading About Art: Read a book about art or famous artists. Discuss different art techniques, colors, and styles. Encourage the student to express their opinions and preferences.
