Activities
- Start by playing a Roblox game together. Choose a game that involves collecting items or earning points.
- While playing, ask your student to count the number of items collected or points earned. Write down the numbers on a piece of paper.
- Introduce addition by asking your student to add two numbers together. For example, if they collected 3 items and then collected 2 more, ask them to add 3 + 2. Help them count the total and write down the sum.
- Repeat the previous step with different numbers, allowing your student to practice addition.
- Next, introduce subtraction by asking your student to subtract one number from another. For example, if they collected 5 items and then used 2, ask them to subtract 2 from 5. Help them count the remaining items and write down the difference.
