Activities

  1. Research: Ask the student to use the internet to research what Emotional Support Animals are and how they provide emotional support to individuals. They should take notes on key points and interesting facts.
  2. Reflection: Have the student reflect on the information they have gathered and write a short paragraph about why they think Emotional Support Animals are important for emotional well-being.
  3. Discussion: Engage in a conversation with the student about their thoughts on Emotional Support Animals. Encourage them to share their paragraph and discuss their reasons for supporting or questioning the use of Emotional Support Animals.
  4. Role-Play: Divide the student into pairs. One student will act as someone in need of emotional support, and the other will act as an Emotional Support Animal. They should take turns playing both roles and demonstrate how the animal provides comfort and emotional support.
  5. Journaling: Ask the student to write a journal entry reflecting on the role-play activity. They should describe their experience and discuss any new insights or understanding gained about Emotional Support Animals.
