Objective
The objective of this lesson is to engage the student in physical activity while incorporating their interest in virtual reality games. By the end of the lesson, the student will have improved their physical fitness and coordination through the use of VR games.
Materials and Prep
- Virtual reality headset
- VR game compatible with the headset
- Open space for physical activity
- Water bottle for hydration
Before starting the lesson, make sure the VR headset is properly set up and calibrated. Ensure the VR game is installed and ready to be played.
Activities
- Warm-up: Begin the lesson with a 5-minute warm-up consisting of light stretching exercises to prepare the body for physical activity.
- VR Game Session: Allow the student to engage in a virtual reality game for a set period of time (e.g., 15-20 minutes). Encourage them to actively participate and move their body while playing the game.
- Cool-down: Finish the lesson with a 5-minute cool-down, focusing on deep breathing and gentle stretching exercises to gradually bring the heart rate down and prevent muscle soreness.
