Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a basic understanding of Egyptian civilization and its architectural features.
Activities

Create a Pyramid
Using the cardboard sheets, ruler, pencil, and scissors, design and construct a pyramid model. Remember to include a square base and four triangular sides. You can use markers or colored pencils to decorate your pyramid with Egyptian-inspired patterns.
-
Build a Sphinx
Using the remaining cardboard, create a Sphinx model. Start by drawing and cutting out the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh. Attach them together to form the iconic Sphinx shape. Feel free to add details and decorations to make it more authentic.
-
Construct a Cartouche
A cartouche is an oval shape used in ancient Egypt to enclose the names of important pharaohs. Cut out an oval shape from the cardboard and decorate it with hieroglyphic symbols or your name written in hieroglyphs. This will serve as your personalized cartouche.
