Activity 1: Draw and Describe
Ask the toddler to draw a picture of their favorite animal or object. Encourage them to take their time and be as creative as possible. Once they are done, have them describe their drawing using simple sentences. For example, "My drawing is a big red car."
-
Activity 2: Storytime Drawing
Select a short story or nursery rhyme that the toddler is familiar with. Read or recite the story to them, and then ask them to draw a picture representing their favorite part of the story. Prompt them to explain why they chose that particular scene or character.

Activity 3: Collaborative Drawing
Sit down with the toddler and start a collaborative drawing. Take turns adding elements to the drawing, such as shapes, lines, or objects. As you draw, talk about what you are adding and encourage the toddler to do the same. This activity promotes creativity and language development.
