Activities
Listen to a music song of your choice together with your parent/guardian. Pay attention to the lyrics and the rhythm of the song.
After listening to the song, discuss the story or message conveyed in the lyrics. What do you think the song is about?
Ask your parent/guardian to read the lyrics of the song out loud while you follow along. Pay attention to the words and try to identify any rhyming words.
Practice reading the lyrics yourself. Start with one line at a time and gradually progress to reading the whole song. Remember to use your finger to track the words as you read.
Try singing along to the song, using the lyrics as a guide. Pay attention to the melody and rhythm of the song.
