Objective

  • Picture cards depicting different emotions
  • Whiteboard or large paper
  • Markers or colored pencils

Prior to the lesson, familiarize yourself with the importance of personal hygiene and healthy habits for early childhood development.

Activities

  1. Activity: Washing Hands

    1. Demonstrate how to properly wash hands using soap and water.

    2. Have the student practice washing their hands, emphasizing the importance of cleaning all areas, including between fingers and under nails.

  2. Activity: Brushing Teeth

    1. Show the student how to brush their teeth using a toothbrush and toothpaste.

    2. Let the student practice brushing their teeth, guiding them to brush all surfaces and emphasizing the importance of brushing for a healthy smile.

  3. Activity: Emotions Exploration

    1. Show the student picture cards depicting different emotions.

    2. Discuss each emotion and ask the student to identify how they would feel in certain situations.

    3. Encourage the student to express and discuss their own emotions.

  4. Activity: Healthy Snack Creation

    1. Provide the student with a variety of fruits and vegetables.

    2. Assist the student in creating a colorful and nutritious snack using the provided ingredients.

    3. Discuss the importance of eating healthy foods for growth and development.
