Activities

1. Introduce the concept of hibernation and animals in winter. Show pictures of hibernating animals if available.

2. Write the word "hibernation" on the board and help the student sound out each letter. Break it down into syllables if necessary (hi-ber-na-tion).

3. Ask the student to write the word "hibernation" on their paper. Encourage them to sound out each letter as they write.

4. Repeat the process with other words related to hibernation and animals in winter, such as "bear," "den," "sleep," "cold," "snow," etc.

5. Have the student draw pictures of hibernating animals or scenes related to winter and label them with the corresponding words they learned.
