  • Paper and pencil

Activities

  1. Read a Bible Story: Choose a Bible story that interests you and read it together. Pay attention to the characters, setting, and events in the story.
  2. Discuss Historical Context: Talk about the time period in which the Bible story took place. Research and discuss what life was like during that time. Encourage the student to ask questions and share their thoughts.
  3. Create a Timeline: Using the paper and pencil, help the student create a simple timeline. Start with the birth of Jesus and add important events from other Bible stories they are familiar with. This will help them visualize the chronological order of events.
  4. Make a Connection: Discuss how the events in the Bible story are connected to history. Help the student understand that the Bible is not only a religious book, but also contains historical accounts that provide insight into different time periods.
