Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to practice your writing skills while having fun coloring and drawing.
Materials and Prep
- White paper or coloring book pages
- Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
No additional preparation is needed for this lesson.
Activities
- Coloring and Writing: Choose a coloring page or a blank piece of paper. Use your crayons, colored pencils, or markers to color the picture. Once you have finished coloring, write a short story, a sentence, or a few words about the picture. Be creative!
- Draw and Describe: Start with a blank piece of paper. Use your imagination to draw a picture of anything you like. Once you have finished drawing, write a description of your picture. What can you tell us about it? What is happening in your picture?
- Colorful Sentences: Write a sentence using different colors. Each word in the sentence should be written in a different color. For example, "The sun is yellow and the grass is green." Try to come up with your own colorful sentences!
