Prep: Familiarize yourself with the alphabet flashcards and prepare the letter tracing worksheets.
Activities
1. Alphabet Introduction: Show the student the alphabet flashcards, and go through each letter, saying the letter name and its sound. Have the student repeat after you.
2. Letter Tracing: Use the letter tracing worksheets to practice writing the letters. Demonstrate how to properly form each letter and have the student try it out.
3. Phonics Practice: Choose a simple word from the storybook and identify the beginning sound. Encourage the student to find the corresponding letter and write it on the whiteboard.
