Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to spell and identify the names of different Pokémon characters and their associated cards.
Materials and Prep
- Pokémon cards
- Pen and paper
- Internet access for research (with parent supervision)
Before starting the lesson, make sure to have a collection of Pokémon cards available for reference and spelling practice.
Activities
- Choose a Pokémon card from your collection and write down the name of the character on a piece of paper. Practice spelling the name out loud.
- Research and learn about a new Pokémon character. Write down its name and practice spelling it. Then, find its corresponding card in your collection.
- Create a spelling game with your Pokémon cards. Mix them up and ask a family member to pick a card. Spell out the name of the character on the card.
