Activities
Warm-up: Set a timer for 5 minutes and write about your favorite animal. Focus on writing as much as you can in the given time.
Speed Writing Race: Choose a topic and have a speed writing race with a family member. Set a timer for 3 minutes and see who can write the most sentences about the topic.
Story Starter Challenge: Use a story starter such as "Once upon a time" and challenge yourself to write a complete story in 10 minutes. Don't worry about spelling or punctuation, just focus on getting your ideas down quickly.
