Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to use basic drawing techniques to create simple visual representations of objects and shapes.

Materials and Prep

Materials:
- Blank sheets of paper
- Crayons or colored pencils
- Pencil
- Eraser
Prep:
- Clear a workspace for drawing
- Familiarize yourself with basic drawing techniques

Activities

1. Warm-up: Start with a simple warm-up activity to get the student comfortable with drawing. Have them draw basic shapes such as circles, squares, and triangles using a pencil. 2. Object Drawing: Encourage the student to choose an object they like and draw it using crayons or colored pencils. Guide them to observe the details of the object and try to replicate it on paper. 3. Free Drawing: Let the student express their creativity by allowing them to draw anything they like using the materials provided. Encourage them to use different colors and experiment with different shapes and patterns.
