Eighth Grade Talking Points
- Animals play a significant role in our ecosystem. As Charles Darwin said, "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
- Understanding animal behavior is essential for conservation efforts. Jane Goodall once said, "Only if we understand, can we care. Only if we care, we will help. Only if we help, we shall be saved."
- Learning about different animal species can lead to an appreciation of biodiversity. As David Attenborough said, "It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living."
