Objective
The objective of this lesson is for the Kindergarten student to practice their writing skills by creating a digital circus story using their favorite Roblox characters.
Materials and Prep
- A computer or tablet with internet access
- A Roblox account
- Paper and pencils for brainstorming and drafting
Activities
Brainstorming: Have the student think about their favorite Roblox characters and how they could be part of a circus. Encourage them to come up with ideas for acts, costumes, and props.
Writing: Ask the student to write a story about a digital circus featuring their chosen Roblox characters. Remind them to include a beginning, middle, and end in their story. Provide guidance and support as needed.
Illustrating: After completing the written story, have the student create illustrations to go along with their circus story. They can either draw them on paper or use digital drawing tools if available.
Sharing: Give the student an opportunity to share their story and illustrations with a family member or friend. Encourage them to explain their circus concept and characters.
