Materials and Prep
- A world map or globe
- A picture or toy of Mickey Mouse
- Paper and crayons
- Access to the internet (optional)

Activities
- Show the student a world map or globe and explain that we live in a big world with many countries. Point out the United States of America on the map.
- Introduce Mickey Mouse to the student and explain that he is a beloved character created by Walt Disney, who was born in the United States.
- Ask the student to draw a picture of Mickey Mouse using the paper and crayons. Encourage creativity!
- Discuss some interesting facts about the United States, such as its flag, national bird (the bald eagle), and famous landmarks like the Statue of Liberty or Mount Rushmore.
- If possible, show the student pictures of these landmarks or play a short video about the United States.
