Objective

Materials and Prep

- Game of Life rulebook
Before starting the lesson, make sure you have read through the rulebook and familiarized yourself with the game.
Activities
- Set up the game board: Lay out the game board on a flat surface and place all the game pieces, cards, and money in their designated spots.
- Review the rules: Go through the rulebook together and discuss the objective of the game, how to move around the board, and the different actions you can take during your turn.
- Play a practice round: Take turns playing a practice round of the game, explaining each step and decision as you go along. This will help the student understand the flow of the game and how to make choices.
- Discuss strategies: After the practice round, talk about different strategies the student can use to make the most out of their turns. Encourage them to think about short-term and long-term goals.
- Play a full game: Once the student feels comfortable with the rules and strategies, play a full game together. Offer guidance and advice during the game, but let the student make their own decisions.
