Activities

  1. Create a timeline:

    Using the information you gather, create a timeline of the major events and expansions of the Roman Empire. Include dates and brief descriptions of each event.

  2. Map the expansion:

    Using a map of the Roman Empire, mark the regions that were conquered and added to the empire over time. Label the regions and indicate the approximate time of their incorporation into the empire.

  3. Research impact:

    Select one region that was conquered by the Romans and research how the expansion of the empire affected that region. Look into cultural, social, and economic changes that occurred as a result of Roman rule.

  4. Create a presentation:

    Based on your research, create a short presentation highlighting the impact of Roman expansion on the chosen region. Include visuals and key points to support your findings.
