- Writing: Provide the student with a piece of paper and ask them to write a short paragraph about their favorite animal. Remind them to include basic facts such as the animal's name, where it lives, what it eats, and any unique characteristics. Encourage them to use descriptive language and complete sentences.
- Illustration: After writing the paragraph, ask the student to illustrate their favorite animal. They can use pencils or crayons to bring their description to life.
- Sharing: Give the student an opportunity to share their paragraph and illustration with a family member or friend. Encourage them to explain why they chose that particular animal and what they find interesting about it.
