Activities
- Introduction: Start by discussing animals with the student. Ask them about their favorite animal and why they like it.
- Brainstorming: Help the student brainstorm words and ideas related to their favorite animal. Write down their responses on a piece of paper.
- Writing Practice: Encourage the student to write a short paragraph about their favorite animal using the words and ideas from the brainstorming session. Assist them as needed.
- Illustration: After writing the paragraph, have the student draw a picture of their favorite animal to go along with their writing.
- Sharing: Give the student an opportunity to share their paragraph and illustration with you or other family members. Encourage them to read their writing aloud.
