Materials and Prep
- Various leaves (collected from outside)
- Paper and crayons/markers

Activities
- Leaf Hunt: Go outside and collect different types of leaves. Observe their shapes, colors, and textures.
- Leaf Rubbings: Place a leaf under a piece of paper and gently rub a crayon or marker over it to create a texture impression.
- Leaf Collage: Cut out leaf shapes from colored paper or use the leaf rubbings to create a collage. Glue the leaves onto a larger piece of paper.
- Leaf Sorting: Sort the collected leaves based on their shape, color, or size. Discuss the similarities and differences between the leaves.
- Leaf Story: Write or draw a story about a leaf's journey from a tree to the ground. Include the different stages of its life cycle.
