Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own artwork inspired by Norse Mythology.

Materials and Prep

  • Blank paper or sketchbook
  • Pencils, erasers, and colored pencils or markers

Before starting the lesson, familiarize yourself with some Norse Mythology stories and characters.

Activities

  1. Choose a Norse Mythology character that interests you the most.
  2. Research and gather information about the character's appearance, attributes, and story.

  3. Create a sketch of the character.
  4. Use your pencils to draw a rough outline of the character on your paper or sketchbook.

  5. Add details and color to your sketch.
  6. Use your colored pencils or markers to add vibrant colors and intricate details to your character.

  7. Write a short description of your character.
  8. Describe the character's personality, powers, and any interesting facts about them.

  9. Showcase your artwork.
  10. Display your finished artwork in a prominent place, such as your bedroom or a family bulletin board.
