  • Optional: Art supplies for creating visual representations

No prior knowledge is required for this lesson. Just come with an open mind and curiosity!

Activities

  1. Create a Timeline:

Research and create a timeline of significant historical events. Then, choose one event and imagine an alternative outcome. Write a short paragraph explaining how that alternative outcome would have affected subsequent events.

  2. Design a Flag:

Pick a country or civilization and design an alternative flag for it. Consider how the flag's colors, symbols, and patterns reflect the history and values of that alternative world.

  3. Write a News Article:

Imagine a different turning point in history and write a news article reporting on that event. Include details on the causes, consequences, and reactions to the alternative historical event.
