Activities

  1. Create Car Artwork: Provide the student with paper and art supplies to draw or color their favorite car. Encourage them to be creative and use different colors.
  2. Dinosaur Discovery: Show the student pictures or toy models of different dinosaurs. Ask them to identify and name each dinosaur. Provide interesting facts about each dinosaur to engage their curiosity.

  6. Physical Activities: Engage the student in physical activities related to cars, dinosaurs, and barn animals. For example, pretend to be a car and drive around, stomp and roar like a dinosaur, or imitate the movements of different barn animals.

Talking Points

  • "Let's draw a picture of your favorite car! What colors do you want to use?"
  • "Look at this dinosaur! It's called a T-Rex. Can you say T-Rex? It was very big and had sharp teeth!"
  • "Can you find the picture of the cow? What sound does a cow make? Moo!"
  • "Let's count these toy cars together. Ready? 1, 2, 3... Great job! Now let's add 2 more cars. How many cars do we have now?"
  • "We're going to sing a fun song about cars. Listen to the words and try to sing along with me!"
  • "Now let's pretend to be different things. Can you be a car and drive around? How about stomping and roaring like a dinosaur? And can you move like a cow or a pig?"
