  • Research and Presentation: Choose a specific technological advancement that has had a significant impact on the food supply, such as refrigeration, irrigation systems, or genetically modified organisms. Research its history, development, and effects on food production and distribution. Create a presentation to share your findings with the class.
  • Virtual Field Trip: Take a virtual tour of a modern food processing facility or a farm that utilizes advanced technology. Observe the machinery and processes involved in food production. Take notes on how technology has improved efficiency and increased food production.
  • Interview: Find someone who works in the food industry, such as a farmer, food scientist, or food engineer. Prepare a list of questions to ask about the role of technology in their work. Conduct the interview and take notes on their responses. Write a summary of the interview highlighting the key points discussed.
