Activities

  1. Research and create a timeline:

    Using your resources, create a timeline that shows the changes in food supply over the years. Include major events, inventions, and discoveries that have influenced the availability and variety of food. Be creative in your presentation, you can use drawings, images, or even a digital tool.

  2. Interview a family member or friend:

    Ask someone from a different generation about their childhood food experiences. Find out how the food they ate was different from what you eat today. Take notes and be prepared to share your findings with the class.

  3. Create a food map:

    Choose a country or region and research its traditional food. Identify the influences that shaped their cuisine, such as historical events, cultural practices, or trade routes. Create a map that shows the origins and spread of these food influences.
