Materials and Prep
- Washable paints (variety of colors)
- Paintbrushes
- Construction paper or plain white paper
- Toy dinosaurs
- Stuffed animals or pictures of different animals
- Counting flashcards (1-10)
No specific preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Painting with Dinosaurs: Encourage the student to dip the toy dinosaurs into the paint and then make dinosaur footprints on the paper.
- Animal Painting: Show the student pictures of different animals and ask them to paint the animals using their favorite colors.
- Counting with Paint: Place a few drops of paint on each flashcard and ask the student to count the number of drops on each card.
- Dinosaur Counting: Use the toy dinosaurs to count and match them with the corresponding number flashcards.
