Talking Points
- Continents are large landmasses on Earth. Can you point to the continents on the map? "Continents are like big puzzle pieces that fit together on Earth's surface."
- Each continent has its own unique features and characteristics. What makes each continent special? "Just like people have different personalities, continents have different landscapes and cultures."
- Cultural diversity means there are many different ways of life in the world. Can you think of ways people might live differently on different continents? "Imagine if everyone in the world liked the same food and wore the same clothes. How boring would that be?"
- Religion is a belief system that many people follow. How do you think religion can shape the way people live? "Religion can influence the way people dress, eat, celebrate, and even build their homes."
