Objective

By the end of this lesson, Elisabeth will be able to identify signs of spring and match the colors of flowers and other signs of spring with color cards.

Materials and Prep

  • Color cards (red, yellow, blue, green, pink, purple)
  • Outdoor space or access to pictures of spring
  • No prior knowledge required

Activities

  • Go outside and look for signs of spring. Use the color cards to match the colors of flowers, leaves, and other objects you find.
  • Look at pictures of spring scenes and use the color cards to identify and match the colors of different items in the pictures.
  • Create a spring-themed artwork using the color cards as inspiration. Draw or paint your favorite spring scene!
