Objective

By the end of this lesson, Elisabeth will learn how to use spring plants as prints when coloring eggs with onion peel over an open fire.

  • Fire pit or open fire area
  • Adult supervision

No prior knowledge required, just a willingness to have fun and explore!

Activities

  • Nature Hunt: Go on a nature walk to collect spring plants like leaves and flowers.
  • Coloring Eggs: Dip eggs in water, then wrap with onion peels and secure with spring plants. Boil the eggs over an open fire.
  • Print Making: Unwrap the eggs to reveal the beautiful prints left by the spring plants.
