Materials and Prep
Materials: Comfortable clothing, water bottle
Prep: Clear a safe space for movement
Activities
Warm-up dance party: Put on Edith's favorite music and dance together for 5 minutes to get the body moving.
Obstacle course: Create a simple obstacle course using household items like pillows, chairs, and cushions for Edith to navigate through.
Animal movements: Pretend to be different animals (e.g. bear crawl, frog jumps) and have Edith mimic the movements.
Balloon volleyball: Blow up a balloon and have a fun game of volleyball using hands to keep the balloon in the air.
Cool-down stretching: Finish the lesson with gentle stretching exercises to relax the muscles.
