Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to communicate effectively by using interpersonal conventions and language to extend and elaborate ideas for social and learning interactions.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: paper, markers, crayons, and your imagination.

No prior knowledge required, just be ready to have fun!

Activities

1. Draw and describe your favorite animal to a friend or family member.

2. Create a short story with a beginning, middle, and end. Share it with someone and ask for their feedback.

3. Play a game of charades where you act out different emotions and have your partner guess what you are feeling.
