- Be prepared to use everyday objects around the house that are colorful (toys, clothes, books, etc.).
- Ensure a safe space for movement and exploration.
Activities

Color Hunt:
Go on a color hunt around the house! Ask the student to find objects of a specific color, like "Can you find something blue?" Celebrate when they find something!

Color Sorting:
Gather a few colorful toys or objects and help the student sort them by color. You can say, "Let's put all the red things here!"

Color Dance:
Play some fun music and encourage the student to dance while holding up colorful scarves or pieces of fabric (if available). You can say, "Let's dance with the blue scarf!"

Color Story Time:
Read a simple story that features colors. Point out the colors as you read, saying, "Look at the green frog!"
