Learn the Basic Card Shuffle:
Start by holding the deck of cards in your right hand. Use your left hand to take a portion of the cards and place them on top of the deck. Repeat this process a few times until you feel comfortable with the motion. Practice until you can shuffle the cards smoothly and without dropping any.

The double lift is a technique used to make it appear as though you are showing one card when you are actually showing two. Practice holding the cards in your hand and lifting the top two cards as one. Work on making the motion seamless and natural.

A card force is a technique used to make someone choose a specific card without them realizing it. Practice different card forces and experiment with different ways to make it seem like a free choice.

Perform a Simple Card Trick:
Choose a simple card trick that you feel comfortable with and practice performing it in front of a mirror or with a family member. Focus on your presentation and make sure to engage your audience with your storytelling and showmanship.
