By the end of this lesson, the student will be familiar with the letters of the alphabet, able to recognize a few letters, and understand that letters make up words.

Activities
- Letter Hunt: Go around the house and look for objects that start with different letters. For example, “Can you find something that starts with 'B'?”
- Letter Dance: Play some music and dance while calling out letters. When a letter is called, the student can freeze in a funny pose that starts with that letter!
- Letter Sounds Game: Make the sound of a letter and ask the student to guess which letter it is. For example, “What sound does 'S' make? Sssss!”
- Letter Storytime: Tell a short story using words that start with a specific letter. For example, “Once upon a time, there was a big blue bird named Bella!”

- "Look! This is the letter 'A'. Can you say 'A'?"
- "What sound does 'B' make? It goes 'Buh!' Can you make that sound?"
- "Let's find something that starts with 'C'. Can you see anything that starts with 'C'?"
- "Great job! Letters help us make words. Can you say 'cat'? It starts with 'C'!"
- "Dancing is fun! Let's dance when we hear a letter. Can you freeze when I say 'M'?"
