Make sure the student has a clear workspace and understands how to safely use scissors and glue stick.
Activities
- Start by flipping through the Bluey magazine together and discussing the different show props and characters.
- Encourage the student to select their favorite show prop and character from the magazine.
- Using scissors, help the student carefully snip out the chosen prop and character.
- Provide the student with construction paper and markers/crayons to create a background or setting for their show.
- Guide the student in using the glue stick to stick the snipped prop and character onto the construction paper.
- Once the props and characters are glued down, encourage the student to come up with a story starter using the created cards. They can use their imagination to create a show or play scenario.
