Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own show props and story starter cards using Bluey magazine's snip and stick activity, fostering creativity and imagination.

Materials and Prep

  • Bluey magazine
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Construction paper
  • Markers or crayons

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have read through the instructions in Bluey magazine and familiarize yourself with the snip and stick activity.

Activities

  1. Start by flipping through Bluey magazine and finding the snip and stick activity pages.
  2. Read the instructions and choose a show prop or actor story starter card that you would like to create.

  3. Carefully cut out the chosen prop or card using scissors.
  4. Select a piece of construction paper as the background for your creation.
  5. Use the glue stick to attach the prop or card to the construction paper.
  6. Get creative! Use markers or crayons to add any additional details or decorations to your prop or card.
  7. Repeat steps 2-5 for any other props or cards you want to create.
  8. Once you have finished creating, take a moment to admire your show props and actor story starter cards.
